Aurora Pagano was born and raised in Toronto and is of Italian descent. She is an artist, published illustrator and has for the past 25 years, served as the Visual Arts Program Coordinator at Cardinal Carter Academy for the Arts, (one of Ontario’s premier arts-focused high schools). She has exhibited work in various galleries and venues across the city and abroad including most recently, the Gardiner Museum.
Pagano has been committed to developing and facilitating creative, collaborative outreach projects that foster relationships for students and artist and that generate an appreciation for the arts within various communities. The projects have included national and global initiatives inspired by environmental and humanitarian interests.
